Join us to experience a unique online auction with artivists who are donating their art to benefit Apna Ghar.
Art has the power to address social injustices with imagination and creativity that can lead to transformative change. It started with a conversation with Aiman Akhtar, 3D artist, producer and Apna Ghar supporter on the legacy of structural inequities, and our role in advocating for systemic change. We discussed how we could work together to end the gendered and racialized violence against Asian American, Pacific Islander, Muslim, Black, Indigenous, Latinix, Trans and all marginalized communities.
The discussions led to an impressive line-up of emerging and upcoming artivists donating their art to Apna Ghar!
Browse the images and read each artist's statement about the intersectionality of their art and activism and what compels them to be artivists. Custom-printed artwork will be mailed to winning bidders. All proceeds will benefit Apna Ghar's work in the movement to end gender-based violence.
